Who we are

Lycia Geo Consulting (“we”, “us”) provides geological and geotechnical consultancy services. We are the controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at sare@lyciageo.co.uk.

What we collect, and why

We only hold the information you choose to send us. The contact form on this website opens your own email application, and it does not transmit or store anything on this site. When you email us (directly or via the form), we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in your message, and we use it solely to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to administer that engagement. Our lawful bases are your consent and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our services.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to deal with it and for a reasonable period afterwards, and project records for as long as required for legal, professional and tax purposes. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.

Hosting & security

This website is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel processes standard technical request data (such as IP address) in server logs to keep the site secure and reliable, acting as our processor.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email sare@lyciageo.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website keeps cookies to a minimum. We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function and to remember your display preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not run analytics or tracking that profiles you. Because we set no non-essential cookies, no consent banner is required, but you can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
